Research Interests:
Our research centers on studies aiming to investigate:- Cellular and molecular immune mechanisms of host defense against both acute and chronic pulmonary infectious diseases caused by extracellular bacteria, mycobacteria and viruses;
- Immune mechanisms of parenteral and mucosal vaccination; and
- Novel tuberculosis vaccines by using organism-based, bacterial plasmid DNA-based and viral-based platforms.
