Research Interests:

Using genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, microscopy, chemical and structural biology, we study the assembly and function of bacterial nanomachines involved in motility and secretion of toxins. These systems span the complex cell envelope of the bacteria and are important for bacterial pathogenesis.
