Research Interests:

The Capretta group's research has concentrated on the development of new synthetic methodologies and their application in the preparation of biologically relevant molecules. Work in the laboratory has allowed for the development of synthetic protocols for the parallel synthesis of small molecule libraries for use in the drug discovery and as probes for biological processes; and the design, synthesis and application of new ligands and new transition metal catalysts for library synthesis.
