Please join us for November’s ID/IIDR Combined Rounds seminar, presented by McMaster’s Dr. Deborah Yamamura (MD, FRCPC) and Dr. Eta Ebasi Ashu (PhD).
Their presentation, entitled “Aspergillus Resistance in the Environment and Clinical Isolates in Hamilton: A Cause for Alarm?” will take place on Wednesday, November 7th from 8:00am to 9:00am in HSC 1A1.
Dr. Yamamura is the Head of Bacteriology and Mycology at the Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program, a Medical Microbiologist & Infectious Disease Physician, and an Associate Professor within the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine at McMaster.
Dr. Ashu is an Epidemiologist with over seven years of academic and practical experience in health research and disease control, and is currently a Post-doctoral Research Fellow within Dr. Jianping Xu’s Lab in the Department of Biology at McMaster University.
